When a household budget has to cover rent, utilities, transportation, and groceries, even a small unexpected expense can make things difficult. Having somewhere to turn for food assistance can ease that pressure and help families meet their everyday needs.

Plymouth Methodist Church Food Pantry provides that support for households in and around Ashtabula, Ohio. Through its monthly pantry and seasonal produce distributions, the church helps local families access groceries and fresh ingredients.

Starting this October, Humphrey Insurance Agency is supporting this cause through our referral program. For every referral received, our agency will donate $10 to Plymouth Methodist Church Food Pantry.

DEPENDABLE MONTHLY FOOD ASSISTANCE
The church’s food pantry serves approximately 75 families each month, providing grocery assistance to neighbors who need a helping hand.

Distribution takes place on the fourth Monday of each month and is available by appointment. Anyone seeking pantry assistance should contact the church to arrange a visit. This recurring program gives households a dependable resource when their grocery budget falls short.

BRINGING FRESH PRODUCE TO LOCAL FAMILIES
Alongside its pantry program, Plymouth Methodist Church offers a seasonal produce distribution on the third Monday of each month from April through October. No appointment is required.

Each distribution serves approximately 200 families, helping more households access fruits, vegetables, and other available produce. Together, these two programs offer both regular grocery assistance and access to fresh food during the growing season. Local food assistance listings also identify the church’s fourth-Monday pantry and third-Monday seasonal distribution.
